Note: Effective January 1, 2013, AB2364 requires a financial institution that has more than 9 branch offices in California to designate one or more central locations for service of legal process within the state, and would authorize a financial institution with fewer than 9 branch offices in California to do the same. Let us help prepare all required levy documents and service on central location in order to effect proper service of levy. The DFI has already collected this information from large financial institutions and posted it on the agency website in the section titled “Central Locations for Service of Legal Process.”
